Meet The Horses
Sadie was previously a "Western" show horse before coming to Happy on Hooves. She is very sweet and loving. Sadie has even been known to give riders kisses!
On the trail, Sadie prefers to be directly behind Phoebe. She is a good all around horse for almost anyone!

Marco previously competed as a show horse in Hunter and Jumper classes before coming to Happy on Hooves as a rescue horse. He was selected as a trail horse due to his mellow, trustworthy and easy-going personality.
On the trail, Marco prefers to be behind Sadie and in front of Polo, his best friend. Marco also goes by the nicknames "Marc" and "Sharky".

Polo was previously a ranch horse before coming to Happy on Hooves as a rescue horse. He has a special marking on his hindquarter that specifies which ranch he belonged to. His personality is fun, upbeat, and fun-loving which makes a great introduction to horseback trail riding.
On the trail, Polo prefers to be behind Marco, his best friend.

Millie was previously a work horse before coming to Happy on Hooves as a rescue horse. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. Her personality is calm, gentle, and sweet which is great for first time riders.
On the trail, Millie prefers to be behind Polo.

Caboose was previously a ranch horse before coming to Happy on Hooves as a rescue horse. He is now retired and spends his days greeting riders at the fence hoping someone will bring him his favorite treat - bananas! His personality is calm, slow and easy-going. You can call him the "Steady-Eddy" of the group and we pull him out of retirement when we need a really safe horse for a timid rider.

Fish was born at the farm. His personality is fun and funny! He can always be counted on to provide a memorable experience.
On the trail, Fish can ride at any point in the line. He does well with anyone who likes to laugh!
Dos was previously a trail horse before coming to Happy on Hooves as an at risk horse. Her farm was not suitable for her to live at anymore so she now resides here.
She has been learning a lot while becoming very sweet and personable!
